Online Insulator Soiling Monitoring Device By measuring leakage current and micro-meteorological parameters, this device accurately assesses the Equivalent Salt Deposition Density (ESDD) and the Normal Salt Deposition Density (NSDD). It automatically issues alerts when soiling exceeds thresholds, effectively preventing soiling flashovers and circuit breaker trips. The system supports remote data transmission and trend analysis, providing a scientific basis for condition-based maintenance, guiding targeted cleaning, reducing O&M costs, and comprehensively enhancing the safety of external insulation on transmission lines.
